How Cooki handles what you cannot eat
We only ever exclude.
Cooki only ever excludes. A dietary flag on a recipe can remove it from what you are shown; it can never approve it.
How it works
- You tell us the allergens and the pattern once, in onboarding or in settings.
- Every recipe offered to you, on every screen, is checked by its ingredient names against those constraints by one shared rule.
- A recipe whose labels omit your pattern is not offered, even if its ingredients read clean. A label can remove a recipe; it can never approve one.
- Where the rule is unsure, it excludes. The number we watch is how much it lets through, not how much it keeps.
